Cinnamon is a great anti-inflammatory, so when my asthma is triggered, I make a chai tea or cinnamon oatmeal to try to help clear the airways in between puffers (you can only do it 4 times a day), or take a hot bath and close the shower curtain to try to keep the steam in to breathe. (Of course epipen/epinephrine in emergency situations (anaphylactic reactions). Ginger is great for nausea, eat a spoonful of honey as needed for coughs and/or sore throats. Sleep and/or rye whiskey for pain relief.
