I think I have the same thing. I’m Dutch so it has a different name but after googling it I think we have the same thing. For me it means I can eat corn on a cob because it is cooked corn but cannot eat cornstarch. Cornstarch has a lot if different names so you need to know all the names they use for it. Cornstarch is in a lot of products sometimes even in cremes or medication. It takes some figuring out but once you do you’ll be fine. I hope this was helpfull good luck!!
Thanks. Iam learning that so much processed food has corn and it is not listed . Frustrating!
My nephew was just diagnosed with that and he reacts to all corn products. That includes corn syrup, dextrose, maltodextrose, and all the other hidden names for corn. He also has a seed allergy and corn is a seed so use caution with seeds.
Hello, I haven't been medically diagnosed, I've had to do it myself as I was always sluggish but I do find I can't tolerate corn cakes or popcorn, I just don't eat them now
Thanks for answering. That is about the conclusion I was coming to.
