How and what steps did y’all start to realize your illness was nothing but a food allergy presenting as another illness. For the past 6:7 years my team of doctors taught it was all GI related
At first I had only atopic eczema and everything would be the cause ofthe eczema. Than I got diabetus type 2 and that would be the cause of everything.
The same with te fybromyalgia.
And it is not onlybmedical personel who react like that.
Sometimes I have to laugh, for example, at 9 o'clock in the evening andI said that I was tired (undersandably after a busy day) And what do they say, are your sugarlevels okay or something like that. Yes they are okay, I only had a busy day , so yust tired.
For me, it was having an episode of anaphylaxis. Then we did a standard food allergy panel. Unfortunately, I continued to develop more and more food allergies over the past couple of years and now am allergic to most foods with bouts of anaphylaxis triggering more testing each time. I am at the point that I now only eat what I tested negative to (we tested all foods) which is only about 20 foods that I can have. GI symptoms were a huge component for me.

My son has been struggling with GI issues we still dont have a definite diagnosis seems more like Crohns but they believe its allergy related. So on the contrary this time i feel ours not allergy related but his gut really has a problem
