Where To Get A Safe Manicure
A MyFoodAllergyTeam Member asked a question 💭

I'd like to get a set of acrylics to pamper myself, but I am deathly allergic to nuts. I know nail salons tend to use almond oils. Do you know if there is a such thing as an allergy-friendly nail salon?

Hi Lynn. I just read your post. I’m sorry that you can’t get a salon manicure. Have you ever heard of Jamberry? They are vinyl wraps that you can apply yourself. I can give you my website so you can check it out.

You would probably need to research a way to get a manicure that didn't use almond oil and then call your local salons to see if they use that process.

Since my nails disintegrated completely the one and only time I ever put nail polish on them, I have never done a manicure nor pedicure. I just consider it doomed without bothering to try.
