Reason I ask because I am Allergic to eggs.
I had an egg allergy that was so bad, I couldn't even touch an eggshell without passing out. Now, 40 years later and in a different state, I can have egg if it's cooked into food. Having eggs as a⦠read more
My son is 2 years old and has anaphylactic reaction to both peanuts and eggs. I am looking for hope that he may still grow out of these food allergies even though they are more severe.
Same here. My little boy is 3 1/2 with severe peanut and egg allergy. He also has eczema.
Iβm trying to find white bread for my grandson. But they all seem to say they contain sesame or made in a facility that processes tree nuts. Itβs been frustrating. Any suggestions?

My son (12 months) has a documented egg allergy. He has had hives a few times, always from eating or touching scrambled eggs. I did give him baked goods before we knew and he didn't get hives. His allergist said he "probably" can have eggs in baked goods as long as they're baked 350+ for at least 20 minutes.
My question is, how would I know if it was giving him a mild reaction? Just because he didn't get hives doesn't mean his tummy doesn't hurt, right?!
exposure to heat changes the protein in the eggs, so some people can eat it with no symptoms. but raw or partially cooked eggs can result in a reaction

My daughter had an allergy test done which came up positive for eggs, milk, soy, dust mites, dander, mould, grass, wheat and her highest being peanuts. So I just want to find out if tree nuts will also affect her since it was not specifically mentioned on her allergy test results.
I learned through allergy tests that I can have tree nuts but not peanuts unless the nuts are roasted in peanut oil. However, I can have Chick-fil-A.
I'm slowly figuring out how to cook without chicken and dairy. Its harder than it looks. However when my airborne allergies flare up its best to avoid all my major and minor allergies. That would be chicken, corn, tomatoes, dairy, msg, whole wheat, & egg yolks. I've converted to Soy Milk, egg whites in a carton, and vegetable based stock or bullion. My question for you all is where can I find recipes that are common allergen free and easy to make?
Thanks!

I live a very small community without many food shopping options. Do any of you know of a allergy friendly online food store?
I also use Thrive.
I have food intolerances. I get very sick with wheat. It feels like I'm going to die. I my skin test showed a giant hive for wheat, but my blood work is neg. I had a positive skin test for dairy, but I can eat it with no problems. I don't understand.
My doctor and others told me not allergic bc none of my "intolerances" show up in my blood work. Won't even consider skin testing. π€―π
I use 1 tablespoon of flax meal in 3 tablespoons of hot water. Mix and let sit for 5 minutes. I have found this to work well with anything I have baked.
