Does Anyone Out There Have An Allergy Called Lipids Transfer Protien
A MyFoodAllergyTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have reactions at different times of the year where my hayfeaver reacts to natural plant foods and causes an allergic reaction. I find it hard to stick to a health diet as most of the things im allergic to are healthy.

I'm allergic to ragweed. I'm at a new allergist office, during ragweed season the nurse casually said "So no melon, banana or cucumber." That was the first time I had ever heard this. Turns out they have the same proteins as ragweed. Ragweed season should be over but I'm still seeing reaction when I had some melon last week.

yes its bloody difficult. 'healthy' just has to mean something different to people with restrictive diets.

Aw, heck. I'm allergic to ragweed, as well. I learned the hard way chamomile tea is closely related to ragweed. I gave my big bag of chamomile away.
