I sometimes start getting like i dry itching mouth and start getting or going into severe coughing with some things like some foods or anything else that causes these symptoms? Thanks, Jessika

Eliminate them 1 at a time and then see what happens. Then try to reintroduce and see what then happens. Only problem - it sounds easy but you don't individually eat those foods, normally people mix foods up.

How do you know if you have OAS and dairy or other allergy or sensitivity?

I was wondering about pea protein. I’ve stopped using products where it’s been added. I’d think it was related to peas and aren’t peas legumes? It’s all just damn exhausting.

Final people who truly understand. I am as I have said before got allergies to ALL beans and pulses, so no coffee, baked beans, soya etc! The boring bland life for me. I have just discovered that I can have pea protein though.... I can have veggie sausages I think, oh as long as they're gluten free too.....

I have OAS as well. I got to the point where I’m afraid to eat any veggies or fruit. Skin tested allergic to basically all fruits. Veggies started with peas and green beans. All as an adult. Tree nuts as well. I’m having a hard time eating healthy. Just diagnosed as anemic. I have IBS, but feels like gastritis to me.

I’m seeing an allergy nutritionist this week and she’ll just tell me to cook the food, but one reaction can send me into a panic because doctors said could be OAS or could be true allergy. Huh? I suppose antihistamine before eating would help with the coughing. There’s usually itching in the mouth though.
