I'm in the same situation. Have to check ingredients on everything I buy as I have so many food allergies and it's hard to eat out without having a reaction..
Keep things simple is the first thing, I'd say. I don't know what your allergies are, but I have a child who had a lot of allergies. I'd keep the food clean and focus on proteins, vegetables and fruits. The more complicated the foods and ingredients, the more there is to keep track of. Grilled steaks, chicken or fish. Roasted veggies with sea salt and avocado or olive oil, salads. All can be satifying and tasty. Simple rice pastas and simple soups with a few ingredients can also be very healthy and fun to eat too. Reach out if you have more questions.
I need to read all labels, wash down everything, every time and had to replace a lot of small appliances, (toaster, waffle iron, griddle, etc.) I had to replace most of my spices and baking staples, and have my own personal condiments, etc. I keep a gluten free kitchen and if the rest of the family doesn't want what I cook, they eat out or order take out!
