Anyone else have a citrus fruit allergy? Looking for someone who shares this as I feel like I'm the only one!,

For so long I have been searching for a allergy sufferer of citrus just like myself. Find shopping for food ridiculously hard as most things contain concentrated lemon juice etc. Would just like a friend who understands how much of a pain it is!

I had blood work done last week. It showed corn, wheat and sesame. Previously, I had tested positive for yeast. Anyone have experience?

I had blood work done last week. It showed corn, wheat and sesame. Previously, I had tested positive for yeast. Anyone have experience?

I believe this stems for high histamine level when I was taking allergy shots. I have ragweed and various tree allergies I was being treated for. I have already had to stop eating melons, squash, pumpkin, because of a cross-contamination. I'm allergic to artificial colorings, latex, aspirin, bananas. My diet is limited. Has anyone had allergic reactions after beginning to eat a… read more

Does anyone have a reaction to the food that causes a reaction hours after ingesting the particular food?

Does anyone have a reaction to the food that causes a reaction hours after ingesting the particular food?

I have a severe tree nut allergy, and I tried the challenge approach in the allergist's office. After 5 hours I ingested one whole almond, but because I did not show any symptoms in the office he told me I could eat almonds (ha, ha). I didn't have a reaction until 2 hours later. My tongue began swelling. Needless to say, I stay away from all tree nuts!

I am afraid to take my epipen.

I am afraid to take my epipen.

In the Epinen, there is an additive called Sulfites, and i am allergic to the product. In my case, should i take the chance to inject if I really have to? I am very careful on what I eat, I'm very limited in my choices of food, so shouldn't i still be careful in this case also? I wish they would remove sulfites out of wine, I would sure love to have a glass lol.Thank you.

Cherries, plums, apples, silver birch, pears, figs etc. All of a group. Have you tried really cooking them? I can eat them then without IgE response.

Storaging adrenaline pens - specialist medical holder

Storaging adrenaline pens - specialist medical holder

Hi

I just wanted to ask how do you store your adrenaline pens? Do you keep them in a special case?

I’m currently keeping my two Emerade pens in a thin pencil case. But in its original case and packaging. I’m not sure if it should be in a special case or not.

As long as it’s in its original case it should be good. Keep away from heat and cold.

Toni Bernhard Books

Toni Bernhard Books

Hi

Has anyone read the toni Bernhard books? if you have what lessons did you take out of it.

They are a series of books on dealing with chronic illness and reducing stress and managing an adaptive lifestyle. (Sorry should have added the background here earlier) also please don’t judge the books on the awkward titles!
