If You Have Had An Allergic Reaction To A Food, How Long Has It Take To Get It Out Of Your System? 7 Days Out & On Prednisone & Antihist.
A MyFoodAllergyTeam Member asked a question 💭

I am wondering how long my symptoms will persist. I am taking prednisone, Zyrtec, Benadryl and Pepcid to control getting short of breath. I had been to the ER and received 40 mg of prednisone. The next day I felt fair, the following with small dose of prednisone, I felt awful again. Dr. has me on 40 - 60 mg a day for 3 days, 40 for 3, 20 for 3 and 10 for 3.

Just ready to get back to normal. It has been exactly one week since I was exposed.

Also try taking glutathione, activated charcoal or chorella. All which help absorb the toxins from the allergen and aid in detoxification.

All depends on the person if like me You have sluggish system that is slow at breaking down foods then it scan take a few day for foods to pass out of the body my way of dealing with this is eating a few spoons of linseed seeds in yogurt speeds things and usually feel better within 24 hours
