Peanut Kemels

I have a question about peanut allergy. My son has peanut and other tree nuts allergy and he is avoiding them more than 10 years. He accidentally ate the below product because it says not contain peanut but filling has peanut kemels. Fortunately, he doesn't have any reaction when he ate this foods. I checked about peanut kemels(might be kernel?) on the web but I didn't get an answer. What is peanut kemels and why isn't it put in allergic information

I have the Same with coconut oil and parm oil/fat it in a lot of products but not on allergy info

usually not the peanut but how it was manufactured; & if it was clean sterile inviroment

Aren’t lentils the same as peas, a cross-reaction to nuts? It’s so confusing. I’m glad your son is okay with this food.

Peanut kernel even though has nut in the name it is not a nut but a legume. Same family as beans lentils and peas.
