I have a question about peanut allergy. My son has peanut and other tree nuts allergy and he is avoiding them more than 10 years. He accidentally ate the below product because it says not contain peanut but filling has peanut kemels. Fortunately, he doesn't have any reaction when he ate this foods. Aren’t lentils the same as peas, a cross-reaction to nuts? It’s so confusing. I’m glad your son is okay with this food.
Peanut kernel even though has nut in the name it is not a nut but a legume. Same family as beans lentils and peas.
