Yes, all they have for options is to avoid the allergy or epi-pen yourself in the event of exposure. I wish they would find a Solution, not just a reactive choice.

I'm past that stage and now it's on me- I do think there is a treatment to cure it just learned to live with it

Restaurants often do not know what is in the food at the ingredient level. One caterer in my town said if I had to ask about allergen content of her food, she would not want me to eat any of it. She said she does not track, and does not want to track, her ingredients for their ingredients. Example: my allergies mean that some brands of mayonnaise are OK but others will hurt me. I simply had to avoid eating at events this person catered.

Unfortunately, avoidance is the best solution. At least we now have food labels. When I first discovered I had food allergies, they were not required. At least now you have a fighting chance.
