Good Epinephrine Injectors... And... GO!

Good Epinephrine Injectors... And... GO!

Since Mylan has decided to sky rocket the prices of their EpiPen, I'm looking for new epinephrine injector. Anyone know of any that are just as good if not better than EpiPen that are also affordable?

If you have private insurance, Mylan is doing $0 copays for the EpiPens with a coupon. Just google "EpiPen coupon"

Is Anyone Unable To Take Benadryl Or Use An EpiPen?

I have a medical condition that makes it dangerous for me to have any medicine with epinephrine in it. Does anyone else have this problem, and if yes, what do you do about it?

Hi Everyone, Has Anyone Been Prescribed An Epipen And Never Had To Use It? And What's Bad Enough To Make You Need 1?

If you get an epipen prescription is it definite you are going to use it and when do you use it or is it possible you can have it and never get to use it? What kind of reactions would make u get the script and should you look out for before you use it?

I Am Afraid To Take My Epipen.

I Am Afraid To Take My Epipen.

In the Epinen, there is an additive called Sulfites, and i am allergic to the product. In my case, should i take the chance to inject if I really have to? I am very careful on what I eat, I'm very limited in my choices of food, so shouldn't i still be careful in this case also? I wish they would remove sulfites out of wine, I would sure love to have a glass lol.Thank you.

Cows Milk Protein Cure/tests- Has Anyone Tried This?

Cows Milk Protein Cure/tests- Has Anyone Tried This?

There is a treatment where small amounts of cows milk protein is injected into the skin over a period of time in order to familiarise your body with the protein and not have it 'attack' the cells when consumed. Does this work?

Have First Responders Ever Given You Grief?

Have First Responders Ever Given You Grief?

Last week I had an anaphylaxic reaction to a new antibiotic I was taking. I was home alone and knew I was in trouble so I called my local emergency number. When the First Responders (Firefighters here) arrived I handed them my medic alert card with all my allergies and told them that I had administered an epipen prior to their arrival. They started questioning me and giving me grief as to why I would have injected myself when this medication wasn't on my list of… read more

Hi, I'm Not Sure If I Belong Here Or Not, You See I Don't Have Allergies Nor Does My Child. My Nephew Has Nut Allergies.

I keep all nut products up from where he can reach them, however that still makes me nervous when he comes over. I worry that maybe he might touch something that does have nuts and I just didn't know. Another question I have is at what age should they know when to ask about nuts in food or before they touch food with nuts in them? If I should not be on this site just calmly let me know and I will… read more

Poultry

I recently started having a bad reaction to grilled chicken any time I ate it. I'm not sure if its the chicken or what the chicken is fed. I'm afraid to try it again after the last episode. Any suggestions?

Do You Get Irritable On Benadryl? What Other Side Effects Do You Get If Any? How Do You Cope With Them?

Hello everyone. I'm 22, reactive to dairy, dairy derivatives, tree nuts, shellfish, aspartame, tomatoes, and now bananas are hit or miss....mostly miss.

Besides that, I have a lot of other random allergies. Basically, this translates to a lot of benadryl taken often.

I used to use benadryl as a little kid food :'(pretty related allergies, but I don't recall having many side effects. Now however, I have… read more
