My 13 month old has recently been diagnosed with severe allergies to milk, eggs, tree nuts and peanuts. She is currently on Nutramigen formula and I am looking for a milk to switch her to. Our pediatric allergist recommended soy milk that is not made in a facility not produced with other allergens. I have contacted companies and cannot find a product. Does anyone know of one?
I am considering Organic Dream Soy Milk, Good Karma FlaxMilk, and So Delicious Coconut Milk... But all of theseā¦ read more

I have food intolerances. I get very sick with wheat. It feels like I'm going to die. I my skin test showed a giant hive for wheat, but my blood work is neg. I had a positive skin test for dairy, but I can eat it with no problems. I don't understand.
My doctor and others told me not allergic bc none of my "intolerances" show up in my blood work. Won't even consider skin testing. š¤Æš
My son is 2 years old and has anaphylactic reaction to both peanuts and eggs. I am looking for hope that he may still grow out of these food allergies even though they are more severe.

I'm thinking forward 15+ years to when my daughter and her husband get invited to a friend's house for dinner. How would she accept if she doesn't know them well enough to trust their cooking to be safe? Does she just always offer to host? Bring her own food? Eat before coming over?
Make sure they know about your food allergies and always bring at least one dish with you so you know you can eat it safely. Also, we have shown up late and already feed. If they are good friendsā¦ read more

How do you explain to restaurants that you have food allergies and how do you know they listen yo you? I have a selected few restaurants I go to, and when I have to go to a new one I feel like my life is in danger...which it technically is (hehe) seeing as my anaphalaxis has reached a point where I have an epipen with me at all times, and even then I do not have long to get to a doctor...just wondering how everyone else copes with restaurants and take away places...
I'm in the US & it may be different for you in S.A. When i go out to eat, I assume the restaurant doesn't really care about my food allergies & they assume that if I came to eat their food, Iā¦ read more
