My daughter had an allergy test done which came up positive for eggs, milk, soy, dust mites, dander, mould, grass, wheat and her highest being peanuts. So I just want to find out if tree nuts will also affect her since it was not specifically mentioned on her allergy test results.
I learned through allergy tests that I can have tree nuts but not peanuts unless the nuts are roasted in peanut oil. However, I can have Chick-fil-A.
My daughter went on a field trip and wanted a school bagged lunch. Our previous school district was great with separating lunches for allergies. Yesterday my daughter had PB&J in her lunch. She rolled with it very well. Tried to tell the teachers, but she said nothing happened. Her lunch was raisins, chips, and an apple. She said it was ok because she was full after that. So happy she spoke up and made good choices, but worried it could have been worse. Will be talking with the school tomorrow… read more
Good job, mom. My son once got pneumonia cuz the Y kept giving him HiC to drink although I told them not to. It’s loaded with corn and he was not old enough to tell them at 2 yo.
Sorry I was only trying to help you… I’ll be quite now. 😶
I read today that prometrium has peanut oil in it. I read it in an article that was listing medications to stay away from if you have a peanut allergy.
Well I took prometrium during most of my pregnancy with my daughter. In November my daughter tested positive for a peanut allergy. Now I'm wondering if there is a link between the two.
Anyone else take this medication and now your child has a peanut allergy? Or have you heard about this before?
I am not allergic to peanuts but yet when I was given prometrium I broke out in hives just took it once..then switched to a natural compounding progestrone.
😳
RAST is more accurate, but expensive. No matter what the test shows, you still need to listen to your body more.

My son is 2 years old and has anaphylactic reaction to both peanuts and eggs. I am looking for hope that he may still grow out of these food allergies even though they are more severe.
Same here. My little boy is 3 1/2 with severe peanut and egg allergy. He also has eczema.
He typically eats chicken, pork and ground beef. Rice, corn and potatoes are fine. I just want to be able to shop at the Walmart in Mazatlan and know that their labeling is accurate. This is a huge leap of faith for me and I'm scared.
